If you’re like me, you must hate not being able to get your answers as fast as you want them. We have made it simple for you to figure out just how many guests can fit under your tent rental. Why It Isn't A Simple Answer
The reason tent sizing questions are so difficult is because there are so many different things you can do under the tent. Such as, are you having a dance floor v.s. a band. Are you using the tent for a cocktail hour or are you actually having seating. The best starting point and what we’re going to do to make it as simple as possible is start by just providing you with how many people can fit under the tent based on seating with round tables v.s. rectangle tables. This answer can often be found on what type of event it is. Round tables are more formal and most people do prefer round tables. However, the plus side of rectangle tables is, you can fit more rectangle tables under the same size tent which means more seating.
20 x 20 Tent With Round Tables
You can fit up to 32 guests comfortably under a 20 x 20 tent. With the 60 inch round tables, you can fit 4 tables under this size tent. Each table fits 8 guests comfortably which is how we came up with 32 guests. However, that does mean that you will have little to no extra room for say a gift table or cake table, etc. Those are often things that some of our clients forget. 20 x 20 Tent With Rectangle Tables
You can fit up to 48 guests comfortably under a 20 x 20 tent. With the 8 foot rectangle tables, you can fit 6 tables under this size tent. Each table fits 8 guests comfortably which is how we came up with 48 guests. This is more common with graduation and birthday parties.Â
